Horizon Housing Company Horizon Housing Company was initially set up as a trading name of the Gold Coast Housing Company. The Horizon trading name was developed for use outside of the Gold Coast, to better reflect our Queensland-wide operations, in areas such as Townsville, Ipswich, and Logan, primarily on National Rental Affordability Scheme Properties.
In 2010, the GCHC decided to adopt Horizon Housing Company as the main name for the organisation.
